On the first glance Glasgow has similarities with America: the shopping center and the food court.
Yes it was a rainbow that peeked around the corner, and I got it with my wide-angle lens at the plaza. A full rainbow in the center of Glasgow. If this is not a good sign what else
Something remarkable crossed my mind when walking in Glasgow. The central plaza was lined up with statues. But other than Germany most of these statues were intellectuals scientists, poets, engineers and only few were devoted to men of state power. In Berlin, for instance, only two statues in front of the Humboldt University, are scientist, but there are hundreds of generals and kings everywhere.
This is the difference among countries that for centuries suffered war or enjoyed peace.
