It was a bright day with excellent weather conditions to observe a solar eclipse. I had the chance to join the observation at the most prestigious place in Germany for astronomical observations, the Max Planck Institute of Astronomy in Heidelberg.
A place well suited to study astronomy. The staff eager to explain.
In the courtyard, gathered a crows of astronomically interested people.
A wide variety of devices were in use. Hand made.
And a host on sophisticated telescopes, that even allowed to take semi-professional photos.
These are my photos, taken with a telescope.
My camera was equipped with an infrared filter.
